Hotel Reservation/Check In and Check Out
Please book your hotel through Hyatt Group Booking at the government group rate.
Hotel reservations should be made with an arrival date on or before Sunday, August 24th and a departure date on or before Thursday, August 28th.
The standard hotel check-in time is 3:00 PM and checkout time is 11:00 AM.
The traveler will be asked to confirm their check-out date when checking in at the hotel. Check In & Check Out
Tax Exemption
Government travelers are not tax exempt in the State of Louisiana
Hotel Cancellation
If you must cancel your reservation, the hotel’s policy requires cancellation of a reservation 24-hours prior to scheduled date of arrival to avoid billed charges to the traveler’s credit card as a No Show in the amount of one night’s lodging group room rate plus tax. If this penalty does occur, the traveler will be responsible for those charges.
Check In/Check Out Times

Dress Code
Dress is business casual. It is recommended that you dress in layers. You may wish to bring a jacket or sweater since meeting rooms can be cold at times.
Parking
Check with your hotel on self-parking availability and daily rates.
Airport/Ground Transportation
Recommended Airport: Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY)
Travelers should utilize the most cost resourceful means possible to travel from the airport to the hotel. Shared shuttles are cost efficient and are generally the preferred mode of transportation to and from the airport. It is recommended travelers reserve a shuttle reservation prior to traveling.
Shipping Reimbursement
Participants expecting to mail handouts to their facility should make individual arrangements to bring envelopes/UPS boxes/mailing labels to the program. Shipping costs are not reimbursable.
